Role and Responsibilities
- Be a part of a team that has incredible control over highly complicated equipment in a fast paced environment.
- Log data accurately and promptly for all assignments
- Document and communicate all equipment activities for the shift during pass down
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-level equipment problems
- Disposition non-conforming material, identify abnormal conditions, and determine corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Assist engineering teams with experiments
- Follow & Maintain integrity of SOPs
- Equipment technician will be responsible for performing activities involved with the recovery of Etch equipment from PM including qualifications.
- Technicians will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on Etch equipment and recover equipment faults.
- Daily equipment EES trend monitoring will be required, as is responding to ERD / FDC interlocks in a timely manner.
- Documenting / communicating material from tool interruptions to Process team to ensure the material is measured and the material disposition is completed correctly.
- Technician will interact with Shift Supervisor in scheduling PMs, delivering ETAs for tool recovery, Documenting/following standard operating procedures during PM execution is required.
- High energy with a focus on Quality and detail is required. All technicians will participate in Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.
- Duties:
- Perform scheduled maintenance following detailed SOP
- Monitor and respond to abnormal equipment signals
- Work with senior personnel and engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance
- Correct and generate SOPs when required
- Train junior technicians as needed.
- Send and receiving parts from clean or repair
- Work days and hours: CWW A shift.
Skills and Qualifications
- Two year technical degree, equivalent military experience, and/or 5+ years direct applicable Etch semiconductor experience in high volume manufacturing environment.
- 300mm Dry Etch experience highly desired.
- Familiarity with Lam, AMAT, TEL, Mattson, and/or PSK platforms preferred.
- Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes also required.
- Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment
- High level of initiative and desire to learn.
- Familiar with TPM concepts.
- Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.
- Ability to meet due dates for action items.
- Successful candidates will strictly adhere to SOPs.
- Must be punctual.
