Drupel Developer
We are seeking a Drupel developer with skills to design and develop a Drupal solution including ideas for improving and extending the solution over time. This will include implementing views, taxonomies, and references, as well as, developing and customizing Drupal themes and sub-themes.
Experience must include the ability to investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues within a quick turnaround time and communicate root cause and workaround options to team members and clients. Experience with building page layouts with content and blocks, building navigation with menus and toolbars, creating content types, and performing code reviews is also required. Ability to communicate and coordinate proactively with multiple project teams is essential.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of programming experience
- 5+ years of experience with hands-on software development
- 3+ years of experience with PHP
- 2+ years of experience with developing Drupal Web sites and Web applications
- Experience with setting up and configuring Drupal sites
- Experience with designing and debugging applications
- Experience with implementing Web sites in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with creating Drupal sites in Acquia, and using Acquia tools and technology, such as Build and Launch (BLT), Acquia Dev Desktop, Acquia Multi-Site
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior members of the development team Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Drupal 8 preferred
- Experience in working with RESTful Web Services
- Experience with working in an Agile development environment
- Experience with test-driven development and unit testing tools
- Experience with source control management systems, including Subversion and Git
- Experience with the migration of existing CMS content into Drupal via the Migrate module
- Experience with Drupal modules, including feeds, Organic Groups, Open LDAP, Simple SAML, OAuth, Panels, Display Suite, or Context
- Experience with configuring users, roles, and permissions
- Experience with programming languages, including Python, Perl, .NET, Ruby, Java, or C#
- Ability to analyze requirements and formulate design
- Experience with leading client or deliverable support and design meetings
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent teamwork skills
