Job Description

Videlio-HMS is one of the world’s largest providers of A/V systems for the Cruise Ship market with a large international presence. With offices throughout the world, strong purchasing power, vendor relationships, distribution facilities, and support staff, Videlio-HMS is equipped to handle any project.

We are looking for a drafter in our Orlando Office.

Responsibilities Include:

· Preparation of system installation drawings from engineered documentation under general supervision of the Engineer for construction or permit.

· Prepare system as-built drawings from onsite drawing mark-ups under general supervision of the Engineer.

· Assemble drawing package sets and data sheets for submittals.

· Assembles operations and maintenance manuals, system documentation and warranty letters.

· Review drawings for quality and accuracy.

· Print, run copies, distribute shop drawings and close-out documents to different departments and or clients as necessary.

· Complete assigned drawings on time and on budget.

· Assist fellow colleagues with drafting support as requested or required.

· Work closely with the Engineer and Project Manager in assisting of any project drawing modifications.

· Organize and maintain project folders and drawings.

· Maintain plotter; paper and toner replacement.

· Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Skills:

· Good knowledge in general AutoCAD commands such as layers, xrefs, dimensioning and Sheet Sets.

· Solid skills in reading and understanding architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams.

· Solid knowledge of electrical/electronic theory and components.

· Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.

· Ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.

· Solid technical skills and experience related to audio, video and control systems.

· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

· Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

· Good computer skills including command of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
