THE TEAM
Make-A-Wish America is the national headquarters for our organization, providing resources and support for our 59 Chapters around the country. Our Revenue Partnerships and Services team is focused on developing relationships to inspire corporate giving and philanthropy. These vital partnerships provide the resources to support wish granting across the US.
THE ROLE
The Donor Care Coordinator is responsible for entering constituent and donor data into national and chapter Raiser’s Edge databases in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy. Provides exceptional customer service to donors/sponsors, general public, and chapters.
WHERE YOU COME IN
As the Donor Care Coordinator you will:
- Perform data entry of donor information, donations, and gift batches into national and chapter Raiser’s Edge databases ensuring accuracy of coding.
- Complete entries of special gifts such as stock, in-kind, pledges, etc.
- Assist with monthly reconciliation and annual audit as needed.
- Process donor/sponsor acknowledgment letters in a timely manner.
- Update and maintain national and chapter acknowledgement letter templates, chapter processing forms and documented procedures for the Donor Care team.
- Respond to calls and inquiries from donors/sponsors and chapters in a respectful and professional manner; delivers exceptional customer service through the Samanage system by resolving helpdesk inquiries in a timely manner
- Support enterprise honor/memorial fulfillment process by ensuring accuracy of data entry and partnering with external vendor to resolve issues as they arise.
- Review database information and perform maintenance and clean-up of data as needed.
- Ensure returned mail and matching gift request forms are process appropriately and in a timely manner
- Assist Revenue Operations team with Foundations of Fundraising Success program as needed.
- Perform other related job duties, as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a data entry environment.
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Office applications required.
- Database data entry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of nonprofit organizations is helpful.
REMOTE ROLE
This is a remote position, required to be based in Phoenix and report to our national office 1-2 times weekly, determined by business need.WHAT WE OFFER
