Life Sciences Advisory Consulting Partner – Lab 4.0 , position is a key senior expertise role within the Life Sciences Americas responsible for to drive Life Sciences advisory opportunity discovery, sales and execution – both for consulting and transformation engagement. Responsibilities
- Responsible to shape an end state vision for clients’ businesses in Pharma/Biopharma industry
- Driving thought leadership, enabling consulting led engagement, business development activities and provide leadership across domain and/or technology
- Mining strong consulting and client engagement skills with experience in Life Sciences/ pharma with strong experience in positioning and interacting with client leadership team including CxO
- Delivering consulting and complex transformational engagements by bringing strong domain / business knowledge and thought leadership. Preparing business transformation and improvements Points of View, client proposals, client presentations and supporting Consulting Partner in sales cycles
- Drives development and marketing of selected offerings within the Life Sciences domain
- Work with Client Partners and others to drive and lead account expansion opportunities from opportunity identification through closing of additional revenue opportunities
- Ensure high quality delivery and exceed client expectations and coordinate directly with clients to obtain feedback and direction on current and future efforts
- Support sales and pre-sales efforts while balancing against client responsibilities such as helping with RFPs, sales presentations, and marketing events
- Contribute strategic thinking and own and operate assigned consulting services offerings to target increased client exposure and revenue pipeline identification
- Primary measurements: Driving Life Sciences Advisory and transformation revenue, demonstrating thought leadership on various platform, utilization, high quality program execution, client references, and market outreach (conference presentations, published articles, etc.)
- Travel Expectations: Client site travel expected; Primarily within the Director’s area of focus in respected geographies. Occasional travel to other geographies is to be expected
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a respective area. MBA degree will be preferred
- 12 to 20+ years of strong consulting and client engagement skills with experience in transforming Research in Pharma or Biopharma industry
- Strong Pharma Research expertise [ Critical] –
- Industry leader and/or strong experience and well-established and proven business transformation / consulting experience in significant business outcome engagements
- Strong understanding of business objectives, KPI, industry trends, best practices, business process knowledge and process improvement / optimization is must
- Has been involved in improving the processes using techniques like LEAN, , Six Sigma etc. or through Digital Interventions or Technologies
- Should understand, have experience of Digital technologies, which can drive business transformation
- Track record of consistent and significant account expansion and revenue growth
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization effectively and to facilitate problem resolution within all levels of an organization and across organizations
- Experience with consulting organizations – global or niche, is preferred
- Any industry membership, thought leadership paper and other channels involvement will be preferred
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to work with global team
- Excellent spoken and writing communication skills with equal ability to talk to associates, senior executives, partners, and customers
