Dynamite Dog Training is looking for an experienced Dog Handler/Cleaner for our Deerfield Beach location. The right candidate must have a genuine love for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments as well as support Dynamite Dog Training’s mission, policies and positive reinforcement dog training practices.
Requirements:
- Must have a strong work ethic, reliability, energy and enthusiasm
- Must enjoy cleaning
- Must be able to walk and handle energetic dogs, regardless of size and breed
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work
- Familiar with basic dog training commands is a plus
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
- Posses excellent organizational skills with the ability to work individually and as a team
- Must be computer literate
- Available to work weekends and some holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
Duties:
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of training facility which includes: cleaning indoor/outdoor training areas, dog crates, floors, windows
- Walk dogs to and from boarding facility to their respective suites on a daily basis
- Perform dog walking routinely as instructed by supervisor
- Feed dogs as instructed by supervisor
- Bathe dogs as needed
- Perform some computer/administrative tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
