Dog Day Care Play Yard Attendant

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Have fun with the dogs!
• Provide all dogs with kindness and respect at all times
• Ensure the safety of all of our campers by following strict operations policies
• Safely manage groups of up to 25 dogs in an open play yard environment (indoor and outdoor)
• Understand the difference between dogs playing and dogs being aggressive
• Clean up dog waste in play yards
• Ensure a clean and sanitary facility
• More cleaning.yes we do a lot of cleaning!
• Basic dog grooming, baths and nail trims
• Standing on your feet all day long and cleaning (it is a very labor-intensive environment)
• Communicating effectively with peers and leadership
• Always be dependable and on time
• Demonstrating a positive, fun attitude

Qualifications:

• Passion for the care of dogs, no fear of dogs
• Strong work ethic
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Be a person of integrity and commitment
• Must be dependable and punctual is an absolute requirement
• Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Able to stand/walk for an entire shift
• Previous kennel experience a plus

Requirements:

• Minimum age requirement 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Able to pass a background/criminal check

Additional Info:

• Part-time and full-time positions available
• Hiring for both morning shift (6:15am-1pm) and afternoon shift (1-7:15pm)
• MUST be able to work weekends and holidays (including spring break, Memorial weekend, July 4th week, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, & Christmas)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
