Job Description
Tasks
Responsible for the Engineering Team and all Machine/ Equipment Maintenance and Reliability in the assigned Production Area. Develops and implements concepts to improve Maintenance efficiency and performance, reducing downtime and increasing reliability of equipment, including energy efficiency improvement and spare part consumption. Sets the goals for Preventive Maintenance Team and coordinates, prioritizes work of Planner/Scheduler, Reliability Engineer and Area Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical Engineer) with the focus of Machine Reliability and Condition. Drives implementation of projects in the Area to improve area performance, quality, energy efficiency, productivity, safety, cost and work environment.

1. Managing, Leading and be responsible for Engineering and Maintenance Team in Area
2. Align with Engineering Team, Production Customer and other Departments to set and ensure correct Team focus.
3. Coordination and responsibility for Machine Reliability/ Preventive Maintenance Teams and Team Focus
4. Coordination and responsibility for Machine/ Equipment Reliability, Upgrades, Replacement, Preventive Maintenance
5. Analyze breakdowns and repairs with Reliability Engineers and Area Engineers for the purpose of revising current practices and procedures to reduce the frequency of breakdowns and costs.
6. Ensure preparation of the preventive maintenance training plan and execution of preventive maintenance activities within assigned maintenance division. Coordinate between client department, plant management and staff to ensure goal attainment.
7. Monitor the lost time goals related with mechanical and electrical breakdowns (MTTR, MTBF)
8. Project Management – Initiation, Coordination of Capital Projects based Machine Reliability, Upgrades and Benefits for area.
9. Budget Planning – Monitor and oversee daily, monthly and annual budgets
10. Monitoring, Improvement and responsibility for Energy usage and Energy Saving Projects in Area
11. Perform other duties as directed by the Division Engineering Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus two years of experience in Engineering in an industry/manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general industry / manufacturing. Experience in tire production. Knowledge of industrial controller systems preferred (PLC, IPC).

Must be able to work in the US without restriction for an indefinite period of time.
