Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the District Sales Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Directly responsible for hiring, training and developing, as well as, coaching to success the sales team in their district in order to successfully promote the client product to targeted physicians
  • Responsible for motivating, managing and developing the skill sets and overall performance of the sales representatives in their district
  • Effectively identify and monitor multiple local market conditions and build and support strong customer relationships while driving product promotion solutions and executing marketing strategies
  • Monitor field activities to ensure all are within compliance guidelines and provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions while collaborating closely with leadership, commercial operations, marketing and medical affairs

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Advanced Degree Preferred
  • 7+ Years Pharma or bio-tech sales experience
  • 3+ Years district / regional management experience
  • Experience in Endocrinology, Urology or Men’s Health preferred
  • Product Launch experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated success selling in competitive market access landscape preferred
  • Exemplary coaching and development experience required
