POSITION DESCRIPTION District Human Resources Manager ADESA is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager. You’re motivated by staying busy all year long, enjoy being around “car people”, and want to contribute your way to upward mobility and growth.
Educational Requirements and Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required, graduate level educational credentials are a plus. SPHR, PHR, CPP or related certification or progress toward such certification is strongly preferred. Auction, payroll, benefits or training background and experience preferred. At least five (5) years Human Resource experience in a multi-site, multi-state organization is preferred. At least three (3) years of experience directly supervising a minimum of two (2) subordinate employees is preferred. Knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration, policies, procedures, and employment law. Experience with MS Office, payroll, timekeeping systems, and recruiting systems is also required. Valid Driver’s License and Travel required.
Physical Requirements: The physical activity requirements of the position are Light Physical Work. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions. Frequent – standing, watching, writing, listening, walking, talking
Potential – running, jumping, yelling or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations.
Physical Working Condition:
The position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels.
