If you also feel this way then you’d fit in great with us!We are looking for a Distribution Supervisor who will grow at our Tulsa, OK distribution facility.The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of their shift as well as working with other departments and shifts to promote a safe, productive environment as it pertains to the Distribution Center. You need to be a self motivated leader who will set expectations for their shift and be responsible for their results. Primary objectives for shift operations consist of loading and unloading trucks and warehousing products produced from the production plants.What you’ll do in this role:
  • Lead a team of 20 or more individuals which consists of full-time and temporary associates.
  • Ensure customer shipping schedule is obtained as well as review the following shifts and lend help when needed.
  • Work with associates to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
  • Work with the packaging department to produce good product quality as well as ensuring 100% packaging uptime associated with the distribution center.
  • Utilize SAP to monitor inventory and quality; make adjustments when required.
  • Train and develop associates in surge and loading procedures as well as customer specific requirements.
  • Train and enforce on company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant work area.
  • Monitor and order services or supplies as needed.
  • Manage overtime requirements based on manpower needs that are balanced by the budget.
  • Work with the returns coordinator on processing returned products.
  • Set and maintain high standards to housekeeping.
What you’ll need to be successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related study.
  • At least 3 years experience in warehouse supervision or supervision in a production environment.
  • In depth knowledge of SAP.
  • Basic understanding of distribution, transportation, inventory control, and freight routing.
  • Computer skills including, but not limited to, MicroSoft Excel, Word, and Access.
  • A passion to coach and mentor a team to make them better in their career.
  • The ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and/or hours within a seasonal business. Including weekends during the busy season.
