Job Description
Overview: Halifax Health is seeking a Distribution Services Coordinator for the Receiving/SPD Departments.Summary: The Distribution Services Coordinator will assist with daily operations of Distribution Services, including SPD and Receiving, while providing direction to Distribution Services staff members. Ensure that all work output measures meet established standards, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Assist in reviewing and maintaining adequate inventory levels. Maintain current knowledge of all Distribution Services functions. Work proactively with Distribution Services Supervisor and other staff on continuous process improvement measures.Job Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Three years’ experience in inventory control, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and have a good driving record.
- Proficient mathematical skills required, along with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, specifically related to sending/receiving email and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must possess excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and give direction as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- All Duties and responsibilities of the Distribution Services Tech position, in addition to the following:
- Create and post daily assignments for Distribution Services staff.
- Review and update PAR levels as needed to reflect optimal inventory levels.
- Work proactively with Distribution Services Supervisor and staff on receiving and supply issues.
- Conduct scheduled rounds to all service areas to ensure levels of service are being met.
- Ensure that all Distribution Services staff are properly trained.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
