The Distribution Manager - Inventory Control is responsible for directing and managing the tasks related to inventory management located at our Denver, CO location. They are accountable for coordinating and planning the production control, inventory management, scheduling and material planning. They manage the inventory levels for finished goods and raw materials.

Primary Responsibilities fall into the following categories:
  • Responsible for effectively leading inventory teams, designs effective work teams
  • Develops strategic inventory management and staffing plans
  • Documents inventory processes, updates documents as required. Acts as the main contact for audits
  • Responsible for perpetual inventory balances and ensures finished goods inventory availability.
  • Reconciles inventory discrepancies among different systems, locations, categories and classes.
  • Analyzes and addresses root cause for inventory transaction errors
  • Analyzes inventory consumption, previous forecast, and historical data in order to develop forecast with guidance from business unit and senior leaders.
  • Manages the IRB process, and scrap process for non-moving inventory.
  • Acts on forecasting models and inventory/supply chain levels daily.
  • Interfaces daily with corporate supply chain and manufacturing teams to monitor inventory levels and replenish appropriate products.
  • Monitors KPI's, evaluates performance and service levels, drives improvements for critical measurements such as cycle count accuracy, overall inventory accuracy, and weeks-on-hand
  • Build relationships enterprise wide, and successfully work across departments to coordinate and communicate with various groups and key players.
  • Builds inventory lifecycle plans through collaboration across the business
  • Defines requirements for and lead the implementation of inventory system improvements, develops new strategies to make inventory transactions more efficient.
A successful Inventory Manager will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent related work
  • 5-7 years of experience in team leadership for inventory management and/or planning roles with a particular emphasis on production planning, replenishment, inventory planning, analysis, and modeling inventory control
  • Preference given to those with a comprehensive supply chain or logistics environment background and/or experience leading teams in multiple geographic locations
  • Ability to function independently with a high degree ownership, accuracy, and sense of urgency
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, problem solver, energetic, and responsive to feedback
  • Strong follow-up and issue resolution with internal teams and external vendors
  • Exceptional interpersonal capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of data challenges of the organization and industry
  • Must have the ability to conduct analysis and recommend solutions to issues and risks.
  • Computer savvy, especially in Google tools, Excel (macros, v-lookups, etc.); ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, Sage, and Scale; and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Compensation: $99,900.00/Yr. - $157,725.00/Yr.
