WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for a dynamic Distribution Center Recruiter for our Ontatio, CA centers, who will play a vital role in attracting and hiring top talent timely, providing outstanding consultation and customer service while providing solutions to meet business needs. You will adhere to company guidelines, service level agreements, and contribute to the success and evolution of our volume recruiting positions (Material Handlers and PMV Drivers). Communication and leadership skills will be key to support, drive and improve recruiting processes, operations, and initiatives that enable recruiters to efficiently and timely hire top talent and further Nike’s growth. The ideal candidate must be results driven, comfortable being uncomfortable, ability to influence, and work with ambiguity and minimal direction.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONAs our Recruiter, you'll develop relationships to understand Nike’s continually evolving Distribution Center organization. You’ll support unique volume recruiting and strategies, be a consultant to candidates, hiring managers and senior leaders, along with a focus on proactive networking, diversity hiring, and innovation approaches to passive candidate engagement. You will help deliver dynamic strategies to identify, source, assess, and recommend top talent while delivering diverse slates.
You'll provide subject matter expertise on NIKE's recruitment processes and champion changes in process or philosophy. You will lead the process of developing and executing recruitment strategies for key talent pools, working with Human Resources Business Partners and Distribution Center Leaders. You'll utilize broad market knowledge and creatively network to build, manage and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent.
This role is responsible for ensuring reqs are posted timely and appropriately on our career website, work in our ATS to appropriately and timely update and disposition candidates, communicate with candidates on their application status, start and complete appropriate background steps, send on demand video interviews, provide verbal offers to candidates and enroll them in new hire orientation. Recruiters will also participate in recruiting events while managing candidate flow and applications.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHWe are all in this together! The Talent Acquisition team supports volume Distribution Center recruiting for Nike and Converse brands, and works with other HR support functions, such as Mobility, Workforce Operations, Payroll and Employee Relations, just to name a few.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Exercising high degree of professionalism and communication with confidential information
- Excellent attention to detail and results oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Success supporting multiple business partners with challenging requests while offering a high degree of service
- Perform well in a team environment
- Experience in HR systems such as, Taleo, SAP, Service Now, Workday, and Success Factors
- Intermediate experience with MS Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Work experience with process and project management is preferred
- Experience recruiting high volume roles, ability to pivot to ramps and engage talent through various recruitment experiences, conferences, talent days, etc.
- Experience working in a Distribution Center or manufacturing environment, supporting a business with high-volume positions is strongly preferred
