Dispatch Assistant

Job Description

Candidates must be proficient in excel, word, outlook

· Enter jobs into database

· Create Drivers Schedule

· Drivers Payroll

· Answer phones to assist customers

· Follow up on getting Purchase Orders

· Type up quotes and submit to customer

· Follow up on Quotes

· Make sure all paperwork is completed correctly and submitted to billing for invoicing

· Track jobs

· Set up Backhauls

· Assist dispatchers with the day-to-day functions

NOTE: The company is restructuring as we are trying to make the company grow and expand. The above duties are the primary function of your job; however, these may change a little as we progress and the company grows.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Dispatching: 2 years (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)

Job Duties:

• Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
• Answer calls from delivery drivers and relay any emergencies they have to the appropriate channels
• Other duties as requested
