Job Description
Basic Functions:
Properly cleans, sanitizes and stores all dishes, glassware, baskets, utensils, pots and pans. Responsible for maintaining dish room, dish machine and 3 compartment sinks. Assists in cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.
Essential Job Functions
- Knowledge of sanitary guidelines as outlined by the SNHD.
- Knowledge of dish machine operations and 3 compartment sink set up.
- Assures water temperatures are properly maintained in the dish machine and 3 compartment sinks.
- Restocks and stores all dishes, baskets, glassware, utensils, pots and pans in proper locations.
- Removes all garbage, empty boxes and used oil from the kitchen.
- Keeps dish, walk-ins, restrooms and storage areas clean and organized.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or manager on duty.
- Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and be able to bend, lift, stretch and kneel without restriction.
- Must be able to tolerate prolonged exposure to heat, cold and or wet environment.
- The individual must be able to transport up to 50 lbs on occasion and up to 35 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must possess a valid health card from the Southern Nevada Health District
- Previous experience in desired position preferred.
