JOB TITLE: Dishwasher
REPORTS TO: Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef
COMPENSATION: Hourly (Non Exempt Status)
BENEFITS: Full time benefits (Paid time off, Medical and dental benefits, meals, 401K)
This position requires working week-ends and holidays during peak season (May through September)
POSITION OBJECTIVES:
The position is responsible for dishwashing, cleaning and basic culinary preparation, working in a fast-paced environment while ensuring all member and their guests dining needs are met in a professional and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Clean and sanitize all pots, pans and cooking equipment
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
- Keep all equipment and storage area clean and organized
- Check in food from Vendors and put away in order of expiration
- Help with load out for catering jobs
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
- Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor at the end of each day
- Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
- Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
- Attention to detail and sanitation rules
