JOB TITLE: Director Workforce Management
DEPARTMENT: Corporate Retail Operations -- Productivity Improvement & WFM
Location: Boise, ID
POSITION PURPOSE: The Albertsons Companies Workforce Management Team develop and support the labor management tools and processes to optimize store labor usage across more than 2,200 locations throughout the United States. To support a mission to deliver game changing forecasting, scheduling, analytics, and store operation solutions to our 13 divisions, we are seeking an exceptional leader with deep experience and passion for the WFM sector to join this exciting team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead enterprise WFM software transformation
- Oversee key requirements documentation and delivery
- Inject and improve upon industry best practices and developments around WFM technology, processes, and employee engagement.
- Define and own the vision of the WFM delivery team
- Lead communications and drive engagement across all team members
- Drive innovation and thought leadership
- Lead the delivery of complex projects and programs that center around Workforce Management and Productivity Improvements
- Coordinate and communicate status of all WFM team lead or supported projects
- Develop capability and best methods across a variety of key areas
- Support retail operations, aligning execution with enterprise strategy
- Track and communicate all division WFM related inquiries, requests, and enhancements from submission/ideation through execution
- Influence regional and store leadership
- Drive continuous improvement efforts in meeting business needs while improving customer/associate journey
- Organizational Change Management -- active agent in affecting and leading change
- Build strong and lasting senior stakeholder relationships
- Hands on work alongside team to meet key deliverables and timelines
- Bachelor's degree in business
- 10+ years in combination of Workforce Management leadership and HR/Analytics
- Exceptional computer skills with emphasis in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Suite
- Experience with payroll applications, payroll data and workforce demographics
- Experience in a grocery or other large retail environment support function
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, passion, ownership, creativity, and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently within a cross-functional remote team environment
- Experience teaching/leading others
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, including ability to communicate complex analyses while simplifying and summarizing results and recommendations for executive team
- Sound understanding of entire WFM lifecycle and labor laws
- Previous experience in roles within retail/stores preferred
- Experience with developing and implementing engineered labor standards in retail environment
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Six-Sigma, DMAIC) and familiarity with process mapping software
- Ability to multi-task and manage the prioritization of a variety of programs in response to changing business needs
