Job Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Develop, drive, lead, and deploy key strategic initiatives, from planning to execution, across the North America organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to impact and lead our most strategic projects in market. Last year we tackled our Supply Chain Transformation, this year it's Profitability.
As the head of Project Management Office (PMO), they will achieve this mission by:
Translating high-level, long-term corporate and market strategy into concrete activities, metrics, milestones and goals
Driving and guiding initiative owners in planning, execution and tracking the modules and initiatives - while providing deep-dive support on select initiatives with value-added analysis
Initiating regular communication and working sessions with the senior leadership team and board-level executives on initiative progress, issues, decisions and recommended future actions
Developing and sharing best practices across the entire organization
Key Responsibilities:
Planning
Develop and execute a systematic approach to support senior management in identifying the right strategic opportunities to focus on
Coordinate and manage initiative development, planning and prioritization processes across functions
Drive and guide initiative business owners in setting objectives, developing detailed plans and defined KPIs
Management
Alignment with the management team to ensure PMO is focused on the strategic topics and top priorities
Engage with initiative business owners and senior management to determine role and contribution for each initiative
Identify and implement organizational change management tools and techniques to maximize program success
Coordinate and drive initiative business owners to generate regular progress updates while ensuring consistent planning and execution from function to function
Coach, mentor, and develop PMs across all programs and initiatives they oversee
Financial
Drive project budget management, business casing, cost/return estimations (as required)
Systems and Processes
Closely track throughout the project life-cycle and organize regular updates with senior management on module/initiative progress
During planning and execution, provide value-added analytical support to enable fact-based decisions
Coordinate with Human Resources on initiative KPI's and performance evaluation
People Management
Develop and lead the PMO team to fulfill its mission and targets
Provide senior management with objective perspective on progress, priorities and directions while managing their expectations
Provide advice and feedback to initiative business owners and team to ensure high quality, timely execution
Actively manage a network across the organization to ensure the PMO and the project portfolio are highly relevant to the business and its priorities

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of general business experience
Experience with leading consumer brand
Extensive experience in and strong skills of process, project, and change management
Experience in working closely with executives, senior managers and leaders across functions
Experience in leading management consulting firm is a plus
MBA or other business- related qualification
Solid skills in Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
Basic financial and modeling knowledge
