The Better Place Forests Revenue Operations Director provides the critical link between company-level GTM strategy and the operational systems, tools, and execution for the marketing, sales, and customer care organizations.
You will report to the VP of Sales and be responsible for defining and executing the marketing and sales operation initiatives to support the growth and scaling of the company.
You are responsible for overseeing the revenue operations team and balancing finite bandwidth to ensure critical timelines are hit for the business. You will lead the discussion, selection and implementation of tools and systems that enable the overall GTM motion from first click through post-purchase forest-visits. You will be the driver for decisions around tool selection, project scoping, and timeline management for projects that touch Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care.
You will also be a key contributor to the improvement and optimization of current processes and tools that our internal teams use to support the customer journey. Beyond keeping things running smoothly, this role will flex into making data-based recommendations for process improvement to improve conversion rates and overall business efficiency.
Impact
- Own project planning and execution for initiatives across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care related to systems, tools, processes that aren’t strictly engineering
- Define the strategy of the GTM teams’ systems and tools across a unique funnel that involves inbound leads, a sales team, and an ecommerce offering
- Partner in the design and build-out of multi-touch attribution, marketing automation, and other foundational elements of our tech stack
You will
- Define key annual company milestones for systems and tools upgrades/change-outs based on annual corporate strategy
- Create quarterly roadmaps that incorporate both key company milestones and individual team goals by collaborating with leadership of Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Product teams
- Manage and oversee the RevOps team’s day to day bandwidth and be responsible for prioritization, solving bottlenecks, and keeping projects on track to meet key deadlines
- Proactively work with our sales, marketing, and product leaders to uncover revenue-related opportunities and efficiencies
- Manage a highly-limited resource pool to achieve cross functional company goals
- Define the operations-related repeatable processes that go into forest launch and then execute against them

- An expert with tools that span the Revops universe including Marketing Automation, CRM, Paid Acquisition (FB ads etc), Ecommerce, Scheduling, and Reporting
- Patient and well-spoken - this role requires working with all teams that may have competing priorities
- Comfortable with ambiguity and know how to coordinate workload and requirements from multiple departments
- Excellent at managing your own workflow but also know how to manage and nurture a team
