People
  • Work closely with VP of Operations and HR team on development process to build pipeline of leadership talent for NRO’s
  • Supervise a team of 2-3 Regional Managers
  • Make decisions with HR consultation, concerning hiring, promotions, disciplining, and discharge of restaurants leadership team
  • Build success through the creation of a culture which empowers and rewards top performers, and compassionately improves or removes low performers to benefit the continued improvement of the leadership team
Process
  • Maintain an effective system of partnering with Restaurant Support Center including marketing, facilities, and maintenance support
  • Ensures high levels of operational excellence are achieved
  • Achieve financial success in supporting RM team to build sales and increase profitability
  • Demonstrate operational excellence through training, coaching, disciplining, and encouragement of Regional Managers and the restaurant leadership team
  • Evaluate the conflict resolution skills of Regional Managers and influence positive communication
  • Use data and tools to measure objective results with each region to help guide coaching and improvements with Regional Managers
  • Help support restaurants with LTO’s and implementations and follow up on results
  • Partner with Human Resources in any investigations that arise and work with HR to finalize any future action
  • Ensures that restaurants are compliant with government and food inspections
Product
  • Demonstrating high caliber leadership and removing obstacles, so restaurants have the highest standards of service, safety, cleanliness, and food quality
  • Visioning, planning, and implementing an effective strategic direction in partnership with the VP of Operations for each region for all objective measures
  • Support the executive team in creating the company’s strategic direction
  • Multi-unit restaurant management experience in fast-casual restaurant concepts, preferred
  • Proficient in restaurant operations, back if house, and point of sale systems
  • Experienced leading a team through objective measures of performance
  • Advanced understanding of decision-making process, deliverable prioritization, and timelines
  • Advanced ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate decisions while motivated assigned teams
  • Strong understanding of restaurant functions including training, recruiting, and delegating certain tasks
  • Requires 50% travel within home and surrounding markets
  • Ability to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs
  • Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have Food Safety Manager Certification upon hire
  • Must have valid state driver’s license and insurance upon hire
