General Position Summary:

The focus and key result for the Operations team is service delivery. This team delivers on our promise to connect individuals to the services they need to make their lives better, their organizations more effective and their communities stronger. The team develops and manages all benefit plans to maximize patient experience and health while reducing the overall cost of behavioral health conditions. This team is responsible for ensuring we have robust, high quality provider networks for all the services we provide, and that our network providers stay informed and engaged. The Operations team ensures that clinical thought leadership and expertise is paramount in making care placement decisions and delivering care. The team ensures we apply utilization management to ensure the appropriateness, effectiveness and balance of all care we oversee. We provide direct clinical services for those in crisis and, through assessment and case management, we provide support and resources to individuals, families and organizations during some of their toughest experiences.

The Director of Operations leads the strategic and operational functions that drive successful service delivery and collaborates with the Medical Director to ensure clinical excellence throughout the organization.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Health Administration, Operations Management preferred, or equivalent combination of skill and experience
• Extensive and diverse background with 8 – 10 years of healthcare industry experience preferred
• 4 – 5 years of leadership experience preferred
• Experience with quality management programs, accreditation programs, and/or quality management certification preferred
• Experience working with healthcare providers, clients and other managed care stakeholders preferred
• Demonstrated capabilities coaching and developing staff
• Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
