Job Summary
The Director of IT Infrastructure will lead the IT Infrastructure Team, providing primary oversight of RadNet's Enterprise Networking, Systems Administration and Global Datacenter Operations. This position will provide both tactical and strategic expertise, serve as a technical leader for RadNet IT and is responsible for managing a team dedicated to providing highly-available, durable and secure services to RadNet employees and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Development and Oversight of RadNet's:
- Enterprise Network including Datacenter, Branch Site, External and Public Facing Services (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall).
- Commercial co-located Datacenters, premises-based Datacenters, and Public Cloud Infrastructure.
- Physical Enterprise Compute and Storage Environments (Block and File Storage including Storage Network Infrastructure).
- Enterprise Virtualization (VMWare ESXi, VMWare Horizon View, Citrix XenServer, HyperV, etc.).
- Enterprise Backup and Recovery.
- Enterprise Domain Services (Active Directory), Email Infrastructure, File Share Services, Database Administration, Global Workstation Configuration and Software Management (Group Policy), Software Deployment Services, Monitoring and Alerting.
- Collaborate with IT Leadership on strategic development and oversight of systems.
- Collaborate with customers and IT stakeholders on key initiatives.
- Lead and grow a dedicated staff through mentoring and coaching.
- Lead technical discussions, manage and oversee complex infrastructure projects, seamlessly integrate and deploy new technology and processes.
- Partner with RadNet Cybersecurity to enhance RadNet's overall data security posture through operational (Vulnerability Management) and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with RadNet's IT General Controls ("ITGC") team to secure compliance with ITGC requirements.
- Evaluate business requirements and develop strategic recommendations for technology initiatives and purchases.
- Responsible for administration and execution of Software Licensing (Software Asset Management) and IT Vendor Management.
- Develop and maintain a technology budget and a long-term approach to manage; forecast; and if possible, reduce IT costs.
- Optimize, build efficiency, identify and eliminate risk within RadNet IT.
- Maintain and enhance infrastructure documentation, processes and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
- College education or work experience in a related field is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience with IT Infrastructure Operational Management.
- Ability to understand critical business objectives and deliver world-class infrastructure solutions.
- Ability to work remotely as part of a team servicing users nationwide.
- Ability to manage a highly technical staff while maintaining operational business requirements.
- Ability to conceptualize and deliver on complex tasks and projects end-to-end.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, firewalls and network security practices.
- Strong knowledge of datacenter management principles and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Applications such as MSSQL and Exchange.
- Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows/Linux/VMWare) and hardware.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage systems and storage networking.
- Familiarity with healthcare related compliance requirements (SOX, HIPAA, PCI) and cybersecurity frameworks and best-practices (ISO, NIST, CIS, CSA, etc.).
- Occasional onsite-travel to remote facilities (management meetings, staff interaction, project management, etc.).
- Scheduled and non-scheduled after-hours availability to support 24-hour operations (off-hour projects and maintenance, emergency troubleshooting, etc.).
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management and proven leadership qualities.
- Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgement, discretion, and decision making to achieve department and organizational objectives.
- Hands-on experience with cyber incident response a plus.

Physical Demands
This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel to the corporate office or cybersecurity-related events on occasion, drive a vehicle, and utilize other forms of transportation.
Working Environment
This is primarily a work from home position with travel as needed for management meetings, staff support and projects.
