Today, our flagship products are used by some of the country's largest insurance companies, dental support organizations, and dental practices to enable the best patient care.
We're hiring a Director of Finance to lead our Finance function, ensuring strong financial planning, analysis, reporting, and operations. You will help us allocate our resources most effectively to accelerate growth and adoption of dental AI to transform dentistry for the better.\
Responsibilities:
- Own the corporate financial model, financial planning, forecasting, and cash vs. burn tracking
- Provide financial and strategic thought leadership supported by rigorous analysis, with a focus on business planning, corporate strategy, and capital allocation
- Develop reporting systems for senior leadership and other departments to accurately track financials, KPIs, and variance reporting
- Manage external firms that provide bookkeeping, AR/AP, tax compliance, payments, banking, and accounting services
- Implement best practice financial processes and workflows
- Partner with senior leadership across the company as the Finance team builds forecasts and budgets, tracks performance, identifies risks and opportunities, and supports strategic business initiatives to accelerate growth
- Ensure accuracy in all financial statements, cash movement, tax compliance, and KPI reporting
- Lead, manage, and grow a strong Finance team
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in the Finance function with 6+ years in direct team management at a high performance organization
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to build the Finance function in an ambitious, high-growth startup environment
- Expert Excel skills and corporate financial model management experience
- Fluency and comfort with GAAP accounting, taxation matters, and financial statement preparation
- Previous experience supporting the preparation of audited financial statements
- Strong preference for candidates with Finance experience from high-growth startups, SaaS, and "build-the-department" job roles
- Willingness to be both player and coach in a small startup environment where everyone executes
