About You:

The engineering team is growing rapidly as the whole company scales up. As the Director of Engineering, you will catalyze that growth, foster a culture of operational excellence and participate in setting the technology vision.

The successful candidate will lead a highly talented, diverse engineering team with members in the USA and Argentina, manage day-to-day development and execution, hire, lead, and mentor.

She/he is responsible to drive projects to success while measuring and improving team performance, promoting a culture of engineering excellence.

As the Director of Engineering, you reports directly to the CTO and will participate in setting the technology vision and roadmap with your Product and Design counterparts.

You will:

• Direct, oversee, enable, and manage the engineering team.
• Mentor, develop and guide your engineers to execute at their highest abilities and grow to levels beyond their expectations
• Work with founders and senior leadership team to develop and drive company goals. Create engineering vision and goals that align with company goals.
• Develop, establish, maintain, and enforce consistent and high standards for code quality across the engineering team.
• Create and establish tools and mechanisms to enable technology scalability while maintaining high service availability and code quality.
• Establish metrics to measure and improve team efficiency.
• Grow and structure your team to meet business objectives.

We are looking for:

• Experience leading the development of enterprise, mission critical SaaS platforms. Experience with complex data integrations would be a plus.
• The ability to have a deep technical and architectural conversation with your engineers to guide them in solving a problem, scaling the system or improving the user experience.
• A track record of creativity, solving unusually hard problems and transfer of software development into real products
• Deep Product acumen and strategic thinking
• Love for data and diving deep, measuring, learning and improving.
• Experience leading teams through growth and tackling technical challenges
• Clear & persuasive communicator (both spoken and written) and presenter
• 7-10+ years of management experience, including managing and mentoring managers.
