We are excited to bring on a dynamic and proven Digital Application team lead to our IT Enterprise Solutions Business to work in our Philadelphia, PA based office.Background Details:As Lincoln Financial group continues its technology transformation, our Digital teams have dedicated themselves to servicing our different businesses. As the Director of Digital Application Development, you will lead an already experienced and dynamic team working in an agile environment to build custom websites for our Retirement Planning Services (RPS) business. Lincoln’s RPS business is evolving and embracing technology transformation across the board, and this Digital Application Team lead will help create the roadmap for how our digital solutions are architected and implemented for years to come. This is a great opportunity for an experienced digital leader to work with the business and then mentor a talented team to build dynamic and interactive websites.   • You’re going to lead and mentor an amazing team of developers, content management specialist, and business systems analysts.
  • You’ll have the responsibility of interfacing with Retirement Planning Services business stakeholders to identify technology solutions to drive their business.
  • You will direct and enhance the digital roadmap for Retirement Planning Services.
  • Lead the development of applications as Lincoln moves forward in its technology transformation.
  • Encourage and promote innovation and offer ideas for execution and learning
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies
What we're looking for?Must Haves:
  • 7+ years of experience that directly aligns with the responsibilities for this position including 3 years of working directly in or with an agile team(s)
  • 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience (Minimum Required)
Nice to haves:
  • AWS Certification: Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect
  • Experience managing teams with full AWS development lifecycle delivery, including Infrastructure Provisioning, Automation and Security
  • Experience with various technologies such as Angular JS, HTML, Javascript, Java (Spring), API and content management system development
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams, business partners and stakeholders, instilling a culture that allows the team to be successful and ensures work aligns with strategic and tactical goals.
  • Resource management background, focused on resource development, training/upskilling, performance assessment, growth opportunities, capacity vs demand requirements
  • Understanding of:
    • Software development lifecycle
    • DevOps
    • Application security
