GENERAL SUMMARY

The Director Data and Analytics is responsible for establishing and executing an enterprise data and analytics strategy. The position is responsible for high level strategic planning, technical implementation and support related to data and analytics needs across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a business intelligence strategy and roadmap through collaboration with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance financial or operating performance through strategic use of company’s resources
• Responsible for the ongoing identification of the organization’s data and analytics needs to deliver and expand capabilities across business intelligence, forecasting, prediction, and optimization that ultimately enhance the company’s performance and success.
• Launch and oversee data governance framework to identify data needs and gaps that present organizational opportunities to achieve valuable business intelligence
• Build and manage a team of analysts and data engineers to deliver and support business analytics capabilities across the organization
• Advise senior functional leaders and stakeholders on strategic exploration supported by analytical insights and support them to define a strategic vision to realize potential value
• Lead organizational change to incorporate a data driven, analytical foundation across operations

• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise technology development teams and/or business intelligence teams
• Experience leading and implementing analytical solutions using commercial tools and platforms
• 10+ years of experience working with business stakeholders and senior leaders in understanding and delivering business intelligence and data analytics solutions
• Experience consuming large data sets from multiple sources and implementing visualization capabilities leveraging mainstream, commercial software platforms
• Experience and understanding of a variety of analytical processes including but not limited to data governance, quality, and measurement
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing and leading a team of application developers, data engineers or data analysts with ownership of capturing, facilitating and evolving business needs and requirements
• Hands on experience with technologies such as: SQL, Python, R, Sisense, Tableau, Qlik, Salesforce Einstein
