Job Description


Biogen is searching for a Director to lead our Value and Access (V&A) global payer evidence generation requirements, evidence synthesis and HEOR needs for the Alzheimer’s Disease therapy area. This is a key role for an individual experienced in real world evidence and payer evidence needs (including evidence needs related to contracting and HTA reassessment), who has a strong quantitative / statistics background and who is comfortable working cross functionally at a senior level, specifically with R&D, medical and biostatistics sub-teams. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders and partner throughout the organization to lead, design and execute HEOR studies. You will need excellent technical, strategic, leadership, collaboration, and communications skills.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide V&A HEOR leadership to global evidence strategy and execution to support payor focused needs relating to Biogen's Alzheimer’s disease therapy area
  • Partner with cross functional AD TA teams (global and regional), focusing on mutli-stakeholder HEOR needs at global, regional, and local level, providing expertise in strategy and evidence generation and communication.
  • Lead V&A value and evidence publications strategy.
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external communication and presentation of HEOR studies and evidence
  • Lead global V&A AD-related HEOR training acitivities


Who You Are

You will be a seasoned HEOR expert, with strong quantitative skills and payor experience who is able to thrive in a fast paced and exciting solution focused environment. Ideally with Alzheimer's disease, outcomes based contracting and RWE experience. Good understanding of the US and ex-US markets important.

Qualifications
  • PhD/MSc science-based degree
  • 8-10 years of HEOR experience in pharma and/or consultancy
  • Demonstrated leadership in delivering large and effective HEOR projects
  • Specific experience in leading real world evidence projects and specific projects related to payor contracting needs (e.g. OBC)
  • Alzheimers disease or neurology therapy experience
  • US experience

Preferred Skills

  • Ex-US experience
  • Economic modeling skills
