Job Description

Directs all aspects of the financial aid function for the entire graduate population at Questrom School of Business. Manages, maintains and tracks a financial aid scholarship budget of over 10 million dollars and loan processing totaling approximately 7.5 million. Interfaces with all Questrom students and staff as well as other offices providing subject matter expertise and guidance. Represents Questrom School of Business on major university wide financial aid committees. Provides counseling for students and applicants regarding general financial aid availability, student loans (federal and private) all for graduate programs within Questrom School of Business which includes approximately 1300 students. Creates and revises publications, forms and websites relating to financial aid and participates in recruiting events. Hires, oversees, trains, and assigns work to one permanent staff person (Senior Program Coordinator).

Required Skills
  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred
  • 8 years of work experience in higher education financial aid
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
