Job Description
Job Summary

Responsible for Global Compensation and reports to the Vice President of Global Total Rewards

Team and Project Management - 30%

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and consultants and manager in Bangalore.
  • Implement strong processes to ensure consistency of philosophy and approach, documentation, cross-training, and sharing of best practices
  • Work with the team to manage the portfolio of comp analysis projects. Assess opportunities and trade-offs to develop recommendations for discussion at periodic review meetings. Prepare and communicate project status updates for senior leadership.

Consulting & Partnership - 30%

  • Provide consulting services directly to senior business leaders. Guide the decision-making process and outcomes by providing detailed analysis/models, innovative recommendations, and expert knowledge.
  • Partner closely with TA leadership to develop compensation strategies and frameworks to deliver compelling, creative, market-competitive offers
  • Conduct modeling and analysis and collaborate with key finance leaders on annual budget
  • Leverage network to research current Compensation trends and market conditions
  • Partner with Radford and other compensation survey firms to gain market insights and participate in customer forums. Oversee survey submissions.
  • Partner, provide support, and influence processes and programs internally with HRIS, Stock Admin, Legal, Finance, TA, and People Partners

Strategy & Programs - 40%

  • Lead the team (and participate as a project resource when appropriate) for programs such as: annual salary review, equity plan design and refresh program,, corporate and special bonus programs, Exec com, and more
  • Lead the research, analysis, design, financial modeling, proposal development,and program implementation for various special compensation programs and solutions.
  • Partner with the team to develop a comprehensive Total Compensation education strategy/roadmap and training program for managers and leaders. Personally own programs to guide Executive Compensation education.
  • Partner with the HRIS and IT teams to develop and implement strategic technology roadmap to support Comp technology needs for analysis/range creation, programs, and dashboard reporting

Desired Qualifications

  • BA/BS (or equivalent) in Business, Economics, HR, or similar field
  • 10+ years of progressive Compensation experience including Exec, Equity, and Sales Comp
  • Supportive leadership style
  • Thoughtful listener, effective educator, influential consultant, and compelling communicator.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving abilities;
  • Obsessed with attention to detail
  • Experience thriving in fast paced, demanding high tech environment
  • Flexible, willing to work with ambiguity and think outside the box
  • Proficient using Google Sheets and Excel for heavy data analysis and modeling
  • Technical expertise with one or more Compensation planning and market analysis tools. Workday experience a plus
