Job Summary (Primary function):
This position in the FP&A function is responsible for providing financial support and business partnering to the newly created Inflammation & Autoimmune (IAI) business unit of Incyte US. The position will work closely with IAI senior management in Commercial and Medical Affairs.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities):

  • Provide financial support to the launch activities of ruxolitinib cream in Atopic Dermatitis and Vitiligo in the US, Incyte’s first product in the IAI BU.
  • Be a member of the IAI leadership team bringing financial and business insights to the team in support on the anticipated Q2 launch.
  • Partner with IAI leaders on allocating appropriate financial capital to the business to maximize the uptake of the brand.
  • Partner/liaison with IAI Group Vice President and IAI Business Unit Head to align on and support financial objectives of the business.
  • Partner with Commercial Forecasting and Market Access teams to provide accurate revenue forecasts and support in maximizing the revenue potential of the brand through appropriate access investments.
  • Responsible for the forecasting of GTN and providing appropriate GTN assumptions to support the GTN close.
  • Provide Deal/No Deal analysis in close partnership with the Market Access / Contracting team.
  • Partner closely with the Product Strategy team to provide financial support and challenge to the brand strategy when appropriate and ensure investments are aligned with the strategy.
  • Work closely with Procurement team to maximize vendor savings for re-deployment.
  • Responsible for the forecasting and budgeting of IAI spend working closely with Sr. Financial Analyst to provide direction.
  • Support the Sr. Financial Analyst with monthly closing activities.
  • Leverage existing processes/learnings within the Oncology Business to apply to the IAI business.
  • Build on existing oncology reporting processes to ensure consistency and best practices across the North American Business unit.
  • Other ad hoc projects within the FP&A group.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10+ years of Finance-related experience; Pharma/Life Science/Biotech experience.
  • Experience in FP&A working with brand teams
  • Significant experience in the GTN arena and Deal/No Deal and contract performance
  • Experience with supporting a dermatology is a plus
  • Experience with Hyperion Planning
  • Strong excel skills including use of pivot tables, v-lookups, macros, etc.
  • Positive work ethic, excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and provide support to senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the ability to think strategically.
