PVH has embarked upon a data transformation journey, building a world class enterprise data & analytics to manage all types of data for consumption across PVH to ultimately unlock business value through hindsight’s, insights & foresights.
In your new role within the ED&A (Enterprise Data & Analytics) team, you will have the opportunity to address Greenfield opportunities to apply reporting, analytics, data science and machine learning towards e2e analytic capabilities.
Our view of analytics spans across the enterprise including internal and external sources leading to delivery of data insights that help inform, optimize and automate the decision-making process.
The primary purpose for this role is to oversee the development and global deployment of the Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) self-serve strategy providing reporting and highly formatted executive dashboards through a best in class administered semantic layer. You will collaborate with experts in the data analytics space to develop innovative data and analytics products. The team is leveraging the best-in-class analytics, tools and techniques, and you will have the opportunity to hone you experience with them and help evolve our application of them.
This role will provide leadership and oversight for the development of PVH analytic capability and maturity integrating data driven solutions, use of analytics, into day-to-day business decision-making, building a data driven culture across the organization.
The Director Analytics position reports to the Senior Director, Advanced Analytics with 3+ direct reports.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Drive agile, iterative execution of data driven transformation within PVH
- Develop a high performing team of BI / Analytics subject matter experts who efficiently assemble highly complex solutions (Reporting, Dashboard/Visualizations, Machine Learning) driving consistency, analytical maturity and “decision making through data”, across the organization
- Build a strong and transparent working relationship with the business and technology teams on communication, prioritization and ROI measurement against stated milestones and goals
- Cultivate strong and transparent working relationships (Networking, Security, Business Process, Infrastructure, Architecture etc.) promoting alignment and collaboration with active, pipeline and innovation initiatives
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure projects are staffed with the right team member, possessing the right skillset, with sufficient availability, utilizing the right mix of both on/offshore to ensure maximum project contribution and resource utilization
- Proactively monitor end user experience by creating all data points, triggers, KPIs and notifications to ensure job run time, usage and overall performance meets established SLA’s. Publish and communicate analytics that address performance, usage and business adoption of data domains, reports and formatted dashboards and align with a plan to maintain and improve all
- Instill a high level of proactive thinking amongst the team that anticipates business need and solves challenges, presents opportunities and efficiencies
- Provide regular feedback, coaching and mentorship to team members ensuring each has well documented goals and objectives and an individual development / career roadmap. Identify opportunities to expand roles with training and unique challenging initiatives to provide exposure and increased skillset.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
- 10+ years' experience with Business Intelligence / Analytical architecture, frameworks, tools and development lifecycles with increasing levels of supervisory and leadership responsibilities
- Strong analytical, mathematical and logical thinking
- Experience identifying use cases opportunities for Data Science & Advanced Analytics, building POC’s to prove out value and justify investment
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with and effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, engage and manage through influence across a large global organization
- Excellent project management (Agile) and time management skills
Education:
- College degree in programming/systems, computer science, or specialized training, certification, or equivalent work experience
Skills:
- Ability to use core analytical methods in developing solutions and design of experiments
- Segmentation/clustering techniques
- Predictive modelling
- Machine Learning
- Project Management, resource utilization and experience building accurate project timelines / budget requirements
- Cloud Environment: Microsoft Azure preferred, AWS/GCP accepted
