Job Summary

The Director, Compensation Platforms & Tools will be a key member of the Xfinity Growth, Innovation and Experience organization, responsible for the deployment, oversight, execution, and return on investment analysis of all compensation tools. The ideal candidate will combine their knowledge of sales strategy, data driven sales compensation mechanics & compensation tools and processes to ensure flawless oversight and execution of all compensation tools and platforms. This position reports to the Senior Director, Compensation Strategy & Insights (CSI) and offers the opportunity to work closely with a variety of cross functional teams, including Sales & Marketing, Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI), Finance, and our local division and region organizations.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the deployment, oversight, execution, and return on investment analysis of all compensation tools.
  • Manages all vendor relationships and internal and external team oversight for software development and delivery: including compensation management (ICM) and quota setting tools.
  • Manages enhancement, break fix resolution, and optimization of tools.
  • Manages team that provide insight and analysis on effective quota management and works to optimize delivery of AI support to best predict goals.
  • Responsible for ownership of testing plans and roadmap for delivery in partnership with divisional teams.
  • Ownership for quota setting process and timelines and provide read outs on analysis and optimization of algorithm/methodology approaches.
  • Work to launch any new channels, capability onto the tools, vendor assessments and selection and other duties to be defined.
  • In partnership with business units, drive change management and understanding of platform deployments and enhancements across the enterprise
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred. Business Intelligence / Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Statistics / Marketing & Sales Mechanics or other related field required.
  • Prior management/supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent administrative, organizational and analytical skills (with proficiency in Excel)
  • Ability to understand sales processes and compensation concepts
  • Customer focused with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong program management skills, with experience leading high visibility projects
  • Experience and comfort with presenting ideas to senior leaders
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships, influence decisions and manage change up to senior management levels
  • Experience with commercial sales compensation platforms/packages
  • Base knowledge of financial applications such as Essbase.
  • Knowledge of the net promoter system (NPS) a plus
