Director - Catering, Team Member Dining, Events, And Beverages

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall strategic management and profit performance for the shared services department. The role will have direct oversight of the following key areas: Catering and Event Sales, Marque and Special Event development, Team Member Dining and the Beverage Program for the Food and Beverage division.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all aspects of Convection Services and Catering Sales including menu development to meet clients’ requests from both an internal and external perspective. Ensure client satisfaction by establishing and maintaining standards that are measurable.
• Oversee the development of the strategic beverage program to include wine lists, beer selections, cocktail selection and non-alcoholic specialty drinks for Universal Orlando. Maximize revenue and operational excellence through implementation and oversight of procedures and policies related to beverages.
• Oversee the development of special and marque event projects for the Food and Beverage Division as assigned from inception through completion. Providing strategic input to improve current programs enhancements and make recommendations as to program enhancements where possible.
• Oversees all aspects of Team Member Dining. Ensuring continued focus in areas of financial performance, TSAT result s and outstanding guest service for our team members.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE: Support the Shared Services operations that supports the front of house operations in USF, IOA, VB and CityWalk.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree is required.

EXPERIENCE: 7 to 10 Years of Food Service Management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
