Service Line Specialist – Digital
Engineering Sales
Banking & Financial Services
Cognizant's Digital
Engineering (CDE) practice is seeking a Service Line Specialist to help drive
Digital Engineering engagements with our strategic clients. Cognizant is seeing
vast client demand around Application Modernization and new product engineering.
We have clients with thousands of apps looking for us to help them take a
journey toward velocity, efficiency and scalability!
This is a senior level role,
owning sales and strategy.
Location:
United States; ability to travel as needed.
You must be legally
authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer
sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Responsibilities:
•
Own revenue and TCV targets for the assigned
account(s)
•
Ensure accuracy of TCV and revenue forecasts
–
Includes forecasting TCV close dates
•
Drive generation and conversion of pipeline by
collaboratively working with account relationship teams to establish connects
with Client stakeholders that can lead to identification of qualified Digital
Opportunities
•
Plan and lead the development of winning sales
strategies on complex engagements that address issues such as stakeholder
management, pricing, competitive differentiation, and revenue optimization.
•
Maintain a working knowledge of Digital
technologies, emerging trends and its applicability to industries & domains
that enable you to
–
understand our Clients’ Digital transformation
priorities, problems and roadmap
–
effectively identify and qualify prospects
–
build client contacts and relationships (i.e. be
viewed as a trusted advisor) with client decision makers (C-level and
their directs)
–
shape and influence the clients’ strategic
direction via use of consultative selling approaches
–
present a compelling business case to pursuit
teams required to maintain commitment and focus when driving new opportunities.
•
Define & create required content to support
pipeline generation presentations and proposal by collaboratively working with
internal groups, SME’s and account relationship teams
•
Expand and grow opportunities through alignment
and integration of Cognizant’s capabilities and offering across practices (both
within and outside of CDB)
•
SLSs should be “T-shaped” technologists that are
expected to develop specialization in one or two offerings/capabilities
