The Digital Media Strategist is responsible for executing all day-to-day digital media planning, buying and campaign management associated with assigned accounts. The Digital Media Strategist provides media planning recommendations and offers resourceful problem-solving, both internally and externally, while maintaining successful vendor, client and cross-department relationships. They can prepare media plans and other relevant deliverables, while executing media plan implementation.


What you will be doing:


  • Research available client, competitive and industry data to determine the best strategy.
  • Identify best tactics and vendors to achieve client campaign goals.
  • Develop strategically solid media recommendations with supporting rationale
  • Execute media campaigns according to client-approved plan while staying on-budget.
  • Coordinate with analytics, trafficking, ad-serving, and finance departments, as needed.
  • Analyze campaign performance and make optimization recommendations.
  • Manage day-to-day plan changes and maintenance of media plans to reflect versioning.
  • Mentor and train junior staff to develop their core and technical competencies
  • Perform other job functions, as required by their Supervisor.


What you bring:


  • At least 1 year of agency experience specific to media planning and buying
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of mathematical concepts (especially of “Media Math”)
  • Working knowledge of digital media including Mobile, Video, Programmatic, OTT, etc.
  • Cursory knowledge of all aspects of Digital Media (Paid Search, Social Media, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as an understanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure
  • Strong communication, project management and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), plus Keynote
  • Experience with Google programs (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant major and courses preferred
  • Strong Verbal & Written Communication Skills
