Job Description

This senior position serves in all areas of audiovisual and media operations including analysis, design, implementation, project management, engineering, support and media development for the Media Operations Team. Areas of engineering and operational consulting and support include A/V systems, broadcast systems, UC technologies, live event video and audio production, studio and remote video production, video and audio post-production and digital media asset management. Responsibilities for this position include project management, planning and design of media technology within shared spaces and conference rooms, audio/video/data signal flow, as well as the physical installation and execution of these designs. This position also requires a strong level of expertise in virtual meeting hosting and support using various UC technologies such as Microsoft Teams, ZoomGov, Cisco WebEx, and Skype.

  • Performs as a senior project manager for the design, installation, integration and upgrade of broadcast and A/V systems
  • Performs technical analysis and provides technical/engineering support in all phases of media development in consultation with producers and content developers
  • Provides professional engineering, operational and maintenance support of broadcast and A/V systems
  • Manages and maintains facilities and equipment in all areas of production operations, including: Studio, Master Control, edit suites, Ingest Suite, Production Control Suite, and Cable TV Head End
  • Designs and produces electrical and engineering diagrams/drawings for A/V and broadcast systems
  • Directs and/or provides technical direction of multi-camera live event production for cablecast, webcast, and archival recording
  • Performs consultation and technical analysis with virtual meeting organizers to identify and recommend appropriate UC technologies for specific events
  • Hosts and supports large and small virtual meetings using various UC technologies such as Microsoft Teams, ZoomGov, Cisco WebEx, and Skype
  • Recommends strategies, techniques and technologies for animation and motion graphics development
  • Performs research and reports on emerging broadcast and A/V technologies
  • Researches, recommends, and specifies equipment purchases; obtains quotes and processes equipment requisitions; processes, receives, tests, installs and integrates new equipment
  • Represents the customer in all dealings with broadcast/AV manufacturers, vendors and engineering consultants
