Job Description

Summary
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is an entry level position responsible for coordinating the editorial assignments, posts, and special projects for Ignite Visibility. This person will work exclusively on Ignite Visibility internal marketing projects and work with the Editor to ensure all assigned and posted on schedule. This person should have editorial background. Familiarity with WordPress and SEO best practices is a plus.


Essential Functions

  • Updating editorial calendars
  • Assigning content to a team of 3-5 writers and ensuring deadlines are adhered to
  • Uploading and optimizing YouTube videos
  • Assigning, reviewing, and uploading guest blogs
  • Assisting with webinars and special projects
  • Assigning, reviewing, and uploading guest blogs
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and agendas
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Editorial:

  • Updating, refreshing, and organizing older articles
  • Updating and editing articles according to SEO best practices

Competencies

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports.


Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and business hours are Monday through Friday.


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field preferred
