About the Position:
Our ministry creates and licenses a large amount of video and written content distributed through our RightNow Media website and apps as part of a monthly subscription to churches, businesses and schools. We are looking for someone to help manage the processes of collecting and uploading all of the necessary digital assets that for the content to be ready for distribution.
Because of our global presence, these digital assets may also need to be delivered to our translation partner so that the content can be made available in many different languages.
Responsibilities:
This role would be responsible for the ingesting digital assets and serve as a point of contact for our internal production staff as well as our licensed content partners to ensure that all necessary digital assets are available and in the correct format to be delivered through our site by the time of the scheduled release date.
- Create and maintain a status report of all digital assets, including text, images, subtitle files, and video files, as well as their related translated versions.
- Upload and prepare the digital assets in our Content Management System to be approved for release by our production and publishing staff.
- Serve as a point of contact for any questions related to the status, format requirements and delivery dates of the digital assets.
- Complete or coordinate the conversion of any files that do not meet our digital asset requirements.
- Troubleshoot basic issues related to the ingestion or uploading of digital assets.
- Work closely with the software development team to improve the efficiency of our Content Management System.
- Coordinate the release of the content with the marketing and production teams once all of the digital assets are available and approved.
- Coordinate the distribution of digital assets to our translation partners, and then work with the translation partner to make those files available within our content management platform.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in production, post-production or broadcast environments.
- Basic experience with tools like MS Word, MS Excel
- Experience with task or project management with a high attention to detail
- Able to work across multiple teams to coordinate the completion of a project
- Must have good communication skills
- Operational familiarity with Content Management Platforms like Aspera, Signiant, FTP, Pathfire and Pitch Blue are a plus
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday. 40 hours per week.
Work Location:
Office in McKinney, Texas (This is not a remote position.)
