Overview:
Provides quality medical nutrition therapy and education for patients. Collaborates with medical staff, nursing and appropriate ancillary departments to provide timely and effective implementation of nutrition care plans. Provides leadership coverage of the Food and Enviromental Service Departments in conjunction with and during the absence of the Food Service Manager. Assist with daily duties (i.e., ordering, inventory, cash control) and special event operations (i.e., catering, state accredication surveys, menu development). Represents the Nutrition Service Department in the Safety and Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee meetings.

Qualifications:
Dietitian I
- Education: Must be a graduate of an American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved Dietetic Program. Bachelors or Master’s degree program.
- Licensure: Must have either a current Dietitian Temporary Permit/Dietitian license in the State of Missouri.
- Certifications: Must be registered with the ADA or registry eligible within six months of hire. Must maintain registration status.
- Preferred Experience: One to two years of clinical dietitian experience.
- Education: Must be a graduate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved Dietetic Internship Program.
- Licensure: Must be a Licensed Dietitian in the State of Missouri.
- Certifications:
- Must be registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and maintain registration status.
- Must maintain licensure within the State of Missouri.
- Must have a Master's Degree/ or Specialist Certification in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP), Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC), Certified Diabetes Educator or other clinical specialty.
- Preferred Experience: Two to four years of clinical nutrition experience preferred.
