Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Manager to join our team. The Dietary Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department.

Dietary Manager Essential Job Functions:

• Manages daily food service operations in accourdance with current, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and reulations governing our facility.
• Manages food service employees including the hiring and terminating process.
• Organizes staff working schedules.
• Carries out inventroy management.
• Purchases supplies and equipment for operations.
• Developes client-specific dietary programs and diverse eating options.
• Charts recrods of the resident's diet plans and their food likes and dislikes.
• Assists during resident discharge planning with the dietary portion of the resident's discharge.
• Manages meal planning, nutrition consulting, inventory contol, budgeting and purchasing.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Must possess a Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification.
• Must have, as a minimum of 3 years experiene in a supervisory capacity in a healthcare setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of dietary practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities.
