Dietary Assistant/Server

Overview:

• Starting pay rate of $13.35/hour plus a temporary additional $1.75/hour for a limited time!

We are looking for a Dietary Assistant/ Server. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Community. This food services schedule includes;

• 29 hours every two weeks
• Part time evening shifts; 4PM-7:30PM and day shifts; 7AM-3PM
• Every other weekend & holiday rotation

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center is part of a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs, Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care for seniors. We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital, conveniently located at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN.

Responsibilities/Job Description:

• Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction with their meal service
• Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
• Assists with meal prep and special events
• Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors
• Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills and aptitude, teamwork and positive attitude required
• Desire to work with seniors
• Ability to interact empathetically and communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Prefer some work experience in a customer service setting, but not required
