Dietary Aide (Part-time)

We have a Part-Time Mixed Shift position serving our Long-Term Care/TCU – Rehabilitation/Memory Care Residents that includes:

· Every other weekend rotation

· Holiday rotation

The Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet trays to Health Center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus. The Dietary Aide is also responsible for always maintaining safety and sanitation regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions.

2. Previous experience in nursing home and/or food service preferred.

3. Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards.

4. Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires empathy for the elderly.

5. Trillium Woods is a LCS Community, compliance with the LCS COVID-19 Policy is required for this position as it is for all LCS Community positions.
