Job Description

Summary
Responsible for performing direct patient care related to hemodialysis treatments under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for setting-up dialysis equipment and supplies in a safe manner. Collaborates with all members of the team for overall provision of optimal dialysis treatments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Other (Specify) - do not use One year college education, health care courses preferred;
  OR success in a clinical support role for a minimum of one (1) year. Required
• 1 year of relevant experience recent, relevant patient care experience Preferred
• Patient care experience in a dialysis setting Preferred
• LIFE SUPPORT\Basic Life Support (BLS) 90 Days Required
• CLINICAL\Hemodialysis Technician, Certified (CHT) 1 1/2 Yrs Required Or
• CLINICAL\Clinical Hemodialysis Technician, Certified (CCHT) 1 1/2 Yrs Required
• CLINICAL\Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) by American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Preferred Or
• CLINICAL\Medical Assistant, Registered (RMA) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) Preferred Or
• NURSING\Nursing Assistant, Certified (CNA) Preferred Or
