Your Challenge
- Embrace Infrastructure as Code and work in a rapidly evolving ecosystem
- Collaborate with other team members regarding best practices for deployment standards and policies
- Collaborate with Dev, Ops, QA, PM, Support teams on needs, goals, and best practices
- Utilize bug/issue tracking systems to manage today's priorities and forecast tomorrow's needs
- Implement, Update and enhance CI/CD pipelines to empower faster realization of code
- Enhance automation tools, automate manual processes
- Update and enhance all environments supporting the software development lifecycle
- Participate in Dev & DevOps team standups
Your Qualifications
- Experience implementing and utilizing configuration management and automation
- Understand and utilize Code branching strategy and patterns including usage of dvcs/vcs like git, SVN, Bitbucket
- Experience with Agile practices: kanban, scrum
- Understanding of AWS offerings and experience implementing them
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure Devops, Chef, Puppet, Docker
- Strong experience using scripting languages (bash, python, perl, yaml)
- Experience using a programming language like Java or .Net
- Ability to make minor decisions with guidance from leads
- Ability to follow design patterns set by others
- Ability to work on small projects of any complexity with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle issues which arise in an on-call schedule and understanding of when to escalate issues.
