The Desktop Support Specialist will act as the initial point of contact for all computer and systems related concerns for employees. Responsible for all Hardware and software technical support. Track software licensing and basic network support. Working knowledge supporting Windows and Mac Operating Systems.

The Desktop Support Specialist will act as the initial point of contact for all computer and systems related concerns for employees. Responsible for all Hardware and software technical support. Track software licensing and basic network support. Working knowledge supporting Windows and Mac Operating Systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware technical issues in person and remotely.
- Administer Office365, (e.g. creating accounts, setting group permissions etc.) Managing/Creating policies, Exchange administration, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune
- Good understanding of vulnerability management, network scans and general security protocols.
- Automate software installs, support networking components, operating systems, and office applications.
- Some local travel may be required to retail sites
- B.S. / B.A. in Computer Science or Equivalent required
- Microsoft Certification preferred
- Must be able to lift any necessary IT equipment
- 5-7 years supporting the Microsoft suite of products. Familiarity with data backup solutions, general network support and system monitoring tools
- Strong understanding of WiFi infrastructure and network performance tuning
- Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines to resolutions
- Ability to prioritize and mange tasks and projects effectively
- Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential
- Comfortable working in and assisting others through helpdesk software and remote access desktop software
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a customer focused position
- Familiar with SCCM, basic scripting knowledge such as PowerShell
- Familiarity with Microsoft ERP systems is a plus
- Documents procedures, creates logs, standards, and best practices
