Job Description:
Provide desktop administration support for the Advanced Technology Laboratory.-
Job Details:
ResponsibilitiesUnder general direction, perform Windows computer systems installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, trouble shooting, and end-user support for servers, workstations, laptops, and virtual machines.
Maintain computer systems in accordance with established information assurance policies and procedures.
Assist in deployment and maintenance of engineering/scientific software applications on end-user computer systems.
Perform computer systems audits for compliance with established information assurance policies and configuration guidelines.
Maintain computer hardware/software inventories.
Document computer system configurations.
Other related functions as assigned
HS/GED. One year experience providing end user help desk support in a Windows, Linux or Mac environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor. Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work independently and unsupervised. Willingness to receive and implement feedback. Detail oriented. Ability to closely follow written and verbal instructions. Candidate will need to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+, within 6 months of hire date. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
US Citizen: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level appropriate to the project requirements of the position
Preferred QualificationsAssociates degree in Computer Science or related field. At least three years experience in Windows, Linux, or Mac enterprise environment.
Current DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification for Security+. Microsoft or Linux certifications. Experience w/ ITIL, COBIT, NIST, CMMC, or other IT and cybersecurity frameworks.

Salary Range$33,492-$45,690+/negotiable depending on qualifications
