We are currently looking for a talented Civil Designer to join our talented CSA Team in St. Louis, MO. This is a great opportunity get involved in interesting and challenging design project for various clients and industries.

• Perform as an experienced professional in support of a Lead Engineer or Department Manager
• Develop detailed design documents (structural steel, concrete and Civil)
• Ability to work independently on design projects and interface with other disciplines as needed
• Coordinate within the department and with the project team regarding their projects
• Other duties as assigned

• College or Technical Degree or Equivalent
• 8 - 12 Years of Industry Experience
• Proficient in developing 2D and 3D deliverables using AutoCAD, CadWorx, Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D and Laser Scanning Point clouds.
• Knowledge of Microstation is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of Laser Scanning and working with point clouds in an effort to develop 3D models
• AutoCAD, CadWorx, Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, (Microstation, not required but a plus)

• Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.
• Willingness to learn and work on a variety of tasks within multiple industries.
• Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments.
• Must have experience in 3D Modeling

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems. Position may include visits to construction sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work boots.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Most work will be performed out of an office. Employee may be asked to perform work in other environments including an office, warehouse and in a trailer or building on construction sites. On construction sites, noise levels will be moderate to high. Job sites may contain the following: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking. Noise levels vary and may include bells, whistles, and alarms.
