Design Assistant

The Avant Group is seeking a design assistant to join our team. We are a residential and custom home builder in Dallas, TX. This position will assist our lead designer in daily operations and act as a liaison between clients and design lead. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, meeting with vendors, assist in the preparation of plans and elevations, prepare client presentations and samples, placing and tracking orders and organizing and updating sample library.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Must have education from an accredited interior design program
• Experience preferred in SketchUp, ChiefArchitect, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Oral and Written communication skills
• Detailed and organized with self-motivated time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.25 - $24.00 per hour
