Children's Dental Health has an immediate career opportunity available for a Dental Office Manager in our new practice location in Springfield,PA!

The Dental Office Manager will plan, coordinate, and oversee the dental practice to ensure that operations at CDH’s office run smoothly and efficiently. . The Office Manager will enthusiastically lead and manage overall operations of the dental office. The position is accountable for achieving financial goals and attaining sustainable business results focusing specifically on revenue, profit, and practice.

Requirement:

  • At least one or two years of experience working in a Dental or Ortho setting.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

  • Maintain office schedules following policies and procedures
  • Implement CDH office polices ensure all staff members are following all of CDH’s office polices
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate dental care for patients based on individual, specific patient needs and according to dentist’s orders
  • Seek involvement / actively participate in activities that promote professional growth and performance improvement
  • Corrective discipline and training
  • Other duties as assigned

Financial

  • Responsible for achieving all budgeted goals and objectives
  • Ensure employees are billing patients correctly
  • Ensure employees are correctly collecting co-pays and balances are collected from patients

  • Minimum three years experience in management position. Accounting/P&L experience preferred.
  • Healthcare/dental experience a plus
  • Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with physicians, patients, employees and others.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology; computer systems.
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time performing computer work
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word.
